About Dental Implant Therapy
Missing teeth may lead to a loss of chewing function, esthetic problems, and shifting teeth. The standard of care for replacement of missing or non-restorable teeth is a Dental Implant, which is placed directly into the jawbone and looks, feels, and functions like the natural teeth they are replacing.
What is a dental implant?
A dental implant is an option for replacing a missing tooth. If you are missing a tooth, missing multiple teeth, or need to have a tooth removed, the area in question can be restored by placing a screw (or multiple screws) into the bone, onto which a prosthetic tooth or bridge can be placed.
If you wear dentures that don’t fit well, implants may also be placed to fixate your dentures so that you can chew, talk, and function more effectively:

Dr. Kaye and his staff were amazing today. Patient. Kind. Understanding. And never once made me feel awkward about my phobia. Infact, it was quite the opposite – I actually felt safe! And not once did I feel rushed.
